Hi, my name is Kyle and i'm a nerd.
I know what you are thinking : "poor kid, he must get bullied a lot in his school". Well, tell you what.. i don't. Fortunately i was born in this era where tech rule the world, so in this era nerd is the cool kids. Yeah, lucky me right? Well, people call our generation : generation Z. I wonder why.. maybe our generation is the last generation before the end of the world?
That might happen! But we will get to that later. Soon i will experience something that will change my life forever, but i don't know that yet. We will get to that too real soon.
Let's go to the morning 3 days ago where everything begin. You will get surprised how things can change a lot in 3 days.
That day, i woke up as usual and had my breakfast before i went to school. Mom drove me to school and gave me a kiss in my forehead. "Mom~ stop that, i'm 16 now"
"Have a good day Kyle, i love you", my mom ignored my groan.
Oh, how i miss my mom now.. if only i can meet her now i won't mind having her kissing my forehead in front of my friends.
Anyway, everything went perfectly normal that day unless for two things : first, i met Jack, one of my senior and that would be totally normal if only he haven't graduated from the school 2 years ago.
i met him on a rather peculiar place, beside the library in an old school building. At first i thought he is a strange man who slip in our school and was about to tell the teachers, but then he looks kinda familiar so i decide to take a closer look. "Jack?"
"Woah.. stay away from me". He looks kinda surprised by me. "Oh, hi Kyle.." he had that embarrassed smile on his face when he remember the way he react earlier.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Nothing.." he paused for a second before he answered me.
"Sounds suspicious.."
"Really, it's nothing" he tried to smile as if nothing really happen and he's just there to chill. But if you know Jack then you will know that he's a really bad actor.
"Well, it's fine if you don't want to tell me. But i guess i'll have to tell the teachers then"
"Wait!" Just when i turned my body and about to left, he hold my arm. "Ok, fine.. you win. I'll tell you but you have to promise me not to tell anyone". He looked at me with a serious expression.
"...." i looked at him, feeling confused.
"Just say you promise" he rushed.
"Ok.. ok.. i promise i won't tell anyone.. happy? Now tell me what happen?"
"I've been followed by a strange guy"
"What? You should call the police"
"You think i haven't try? I called the police, i told my parent and my friends but everytime i told them he disappeared and they can't even found a trace of him there. This may sounds crazy but i KNOW someone's following me, watching me"
"How do you know it's not just your imagination. You know, with you being too tired doing all those sports thing"
"I thought so too until i saw him.."
"You saw him? What is he look like?"
"I don't know"
"What? But you said.."
"I only saw him for a split second. When i walked down the street where there is a street mirror and i saw his reflection but then he realized and hide. The moment i turned around he already gone"
"But that's enough for me to confirm that i am not imagining things" he adds quickly.
His story is really hard to believe, but i knew he is telling the truth. How did i know, you ask? Well, remember when i said Jack is a bad actor? When he try to hide something or lie you can saw through him immediately, so i knew he wasn't lying.
"You don't trust me, do you?"
"Actually, i do.."
"Really?" He seems surprise.
"But i still need proof. Listen, i got an idea.. this is what you should do.." and i whispered my idea to him.
"You think it might work?" He sounds excited instead of doubt.
"The only way to find out wether it works or not is to try it"
"Ok, let's do it"
"Ok, give me your number then"
